How the karak calculator works
- Cups: guests × small cups per guest, plus 20% if you tick the extra option.

- Lucarise sachets: one 12 g sachet makes one cup with hot water or hot milk. Retail boxes hold 10 sachets and hotel boxes 100.
- Lucarise 1 kg karak mix: 12 g of powder per cup, about 80 cups per pack, for buffets, urns and vending machines.
- Thermoses: total karak divided by your thermos size.

Tips for serving karak to a crowd
- Brew in batches of 1 litre of water at a time so the tea and milk thicken properly.
- Let the milk boil gently for 2 to 3 minutes after adding it; that is what makes karak creamy.
- Fill thermoses straight away and keep a spare one for late guests.
- Offer sugar on the side, or stevia for guests who avoid sugar. Condensed milk makes karak very sweet, so skip extra sugar if you use it.
