Matcha Powder: Frequently Asked Questions

Is the matcha sweetened?

No. All three products are unsweetened: pure matcha, matcha with cardamom, or pure matcha in capsules.

What is the difference between matcha powder and matcha latte mix?

Matcha powder is only green tea. A matcha latte mix also contains milk powder and is ready with water. Read matcha powder vs matcha latte mix.

Does matcha contain caffeine?

Yes. Matcha is powdered green tea, so it contains caffeine.

How should I store matcha?

Keep it closed, cool and dry, away from light, and use an opened tin within a few weeks for the freshest taste.
