100% Arabica Ground Coffee: A Buying Guide
Lucarise ground coffee is made from 100% Arabica coffee and comes in 250 g pouches in four styles: Turkish, French, Espresso and Arabic with cardamom. They are roasted and packed in our own factory in Oman. Each one is roasted and ground for a specific way of brewing, so the easiest way to choose is to start from the pot or machine you already use.
Which ground coffee should I choose?

Why 100% Arabica?
Arabica is generally known for a smoother, more aromatic cup than other coffee types. All four Lucarise ground coffees are 100% Arabica, with nothing else blended in apart from the cardamom in the Arabic coffee.
Match the grind to your brewing method
- Extra fine: for a Turkish coffee pot, where the coffee is simmered with the water and the grounds settle in the cup.
- Fine: for espresso machines and moka pots.
- Medium-dark roast for coffee makers: choose French Ground Coffee for a filter coffee maker or a moka pot.
- Dallah: the Arabic coffee is for the traditional pot. Use about 2–3 tablespoons for 500 ml of water, adjusted to taste.
Storing ground coffee
Ground coffee loses aroma when exposed to air and moisture. Keep the pouch tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

Which ground coffee is best for a moka pot?
French Ground Coffee and Espresso Ground Coffee are both ground for moka pots.
Can I use Turkish coffee in an espresso machine?
Turkish Ground Coffee is ground extra fine for a Turkish coffee pot (cezve). For an espresso machine, choose Espresso Ground Coffee, which is ground for it.
What is in the Arabic ground coffee?
Ground Arabica coffee and cardamom. It has a light roast and is brewed in a dallah.
Does ground coffee contain caffeine?
Yes. It is real coffee, so it contains caffeine.
Is it instant coffee?
No. It is ground coffee that you brew; it does not dissolve instantly like instant coffee.
