Beans or ground coffee?
Cafés with espresso machines usually buy beans and grind them fresh for every shot, because ground coffee loses its aroma quickly. Ground coffee suits Arabic coffee served from a dallah in lobbies, majlis and restaurants, and Turkish coffee, which needs a very fine grind.
